Does your child love horses? HorsePower for Kids offers guided trail rides by experienced trail guides. Our horseback riding is available year round. We accommodate beginners as well as experienced riders. If you’re looking to go horseback riding, come visit us!

FIELD TRIPS
It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your group to learn about life on a farm through hands-on interactive experiences with horses, ponies, and many other animals.
Come join us for activities such as pony rides and educational experiences about different types of farm animals! We take pride in the care of our animals, and we offer an interactive field trip that will create memories to last a lifetime.

VERY IMPORTANT every child under the age of 18yrs old MUST have a release form completed by a parent/guardian
& PRINTED ready to provide to HorsePower for Kids staff @ arrival day of your event (SEE LINK BELOW).

Admission is $10 per child & adult (chaperone/counselors/youth counselors)

A $50 non-refundable credit card deposit is required at the time of reservation (4% debit/credit card fee will automatically be added to all cc transactions)

WHAT TO EXPECT

Arrival 9:45am- All minors that enter our facility MUST have a completed and printed Release Form.
Students will be divided into groups of 20 or less depending on the total count. Please plan appropriately so there is sufficient adult supervision. This will give us the opportunity to offer each participant detailed explanations of each animal.

Sanitation – Each participant will wash hands and use hand sanitizer before continuing to the next activity.
Groups will rotate through the following stations
(time frame depends on group size)

Petting Area – Educational information about each animal including hands-on experience with some of them. Group discussion and questions.

Pony Ride – children (under 70lbs) receive a pint ride. Children over 70lbs will brush pony.

Please assign an adult to assist your students on and off the pony. The pony will be held and led by an experienced staff/volunteer member as the participant sits on the saddle.
The weight limit on our ponies is 70lbs. -
Train Ride – Each participant has the opportunity to enjoy a guided train ride around the pond, viewing many of our wonderful animals, on Thomas the Train (* when available).

Lunch Time – You are more than welcome to stay as we have reserved shaded picnic tables that allow your group the opportunity to eat lunch/snacks and enjoy some free time on our playground. Bagged lunches are recommended.

Closing – Safely return to bus or car, with adult supervision by 1pm.
